Starship is a next generation spacecraft being developed by SpaceX. Elon musk wants to use Starship to establish a human presence and colony on the surface of Mars. Starship will be the most powerful and biggest rocket ever developed by man with an approximate thrust of 11,500Kn or (2,600,000 lbf). To support a colony on Mars the spacecraft will be able to hold over 100 tons of cargo or half the weight of a Boeing 747 or deliver up to 100 people at one time. Starship will expand the frontiers of human spaceflight and allow us to go places we couldn’t even have dreamt up before.
